Updated Maps

Exploring

Since the last post there's been a fair bit of exploring going on. The world now weighs in at 33MB!

Meanwhile, on the other side of the water...

...a new fort has sprung up!

Fort on the left.

The perimeter wall.

Not sure what will go in this one quite yet, but the protective outer wall is now in place.

The Observatory

Just built an observatory to go with my growing town.

And of course the all-important latest map view.

Minecraft Beta 1,2

A new version is live!

So what's new? From Notch:
New features:

• Note blocks (right click to tune, trigger to play)
• 15 wool dyesA new water dwelling mob
• New tree types
• Reeds magically turned into sugar canes. They still make paper.
• A bunch of new crafting recipes
• One secret useful block
• One secret pretty block
• Cake
• AND MOAR, probably. I forget!

 So what do these things look like?
